The Dovre Extreme GTX boot is a high cut boot designed ideally for hunting, but has been praised as a well serving all-rounder. The height of the boot makes it protective in muddy conditions and the rigidity gives excellent ankle support yet has enough flexibility to be comfortable straight out of the box. The uppers are made from Nubuck leather with a GORE-TEX lining providing a reliable, durable and waterproof frame. Equipped with an Air-Active footbed, the boot stays well ventilated and any unwanted moisture is wicked away in an instant. Meindl prioritise comfort and have done so here using a Memory Foam System. A combination of foams create extra padding around areas of pressure and pinching and mold to the foot using body heat. This not only gives better support but a comfy, customised fit. The Dovre Extreme GTX is finished with a Meindl Multigriff sole by Vibram, offering outstanding traction on all terrain particularly in wet and muddy conditions.
